Lesson 3: Your Profile Picture (Part 3)

If none of those themed sets are what you had in mind, you can head over to the SL Television Studio and see if perhaps a normal television set is more your style. This bit of land is set with one entry point, so once you land, just follow the direction of the red arrow to the actual position I wanted you to go to.
Here, you can take a profile picture on the set of a talk show ...
... filming the talk show ...
... on a whole host of other sets ...
... or in a chroma-key room (more ideal for taking pictures for outfits or accessories you have designed that you later want to sell).
And most important of all:
To take a picture to become your profile picture, position yourself the way you would like (use [ALT] + your arrow keys to position the camera too) and then press [CTRL] + [SHIFT] + [S] to take a picture that you save to your computer. From there, you can make adjustments in your photo editor of choice (mine is The Gimp) and then go to Build > Upload Image and upload it.
Within your profile, click on the blank picture space and it will ask you to select which picture/texture to use as the profile picture.
